Saturday 10:00 am - 16:00 pm including a lunch break (Bring your own lunch)
Sunday 10:00 am -13:00 pm

Who can come
​
The course is open to all associations, all grades and all ages . Please bring weapons if you have them and proof of insurance. We can organise insurance for you with prior notice.
​
Food
Tea, coffee and squash will be provided along with biscuits, but bring your own lunch or be prepared to buy what you need at the local
grocery stores or the bakers just down the road from the hall.
Location
Burwell is a village that is; about 12 miles (18km) North of Cambridge with its beautiful and ancient university buildings, 4 miles (6km) from Newmarket, the home of horse racing in the UK) and 12 miles (18km) from Ely with its wondrous mediaeval cathedral. So we are surrounded by wonderful tourist destinations, which makes it a great destination to extend your stay. London is train ride away.

It is a large village set in the Cambridgeshire fens away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It has a population of over 8,000 and as such offers many amenities including 3 pubs, various food shops and restaurants, a post office, a bakers, (in walking distance) and a chemist

If you are travelling by car, Burwell is:

40 minutes from London Stansted airport

75 minutes from Luton airport
​
110 minutes from London Heathrow
​
120 minutes from London Gatwick
​
The nearest train stations are Cambridge North, Ely and Newmarket.

Social

There will be a post course meal on Saturday night which will be in the village Let me know if you want to come.
